Work in progress! 6 months post partum!! I’m a normal mum - I work 3 days a week, my partner works full time, my parents don’t live in the same town, I’m running my own business, I’m studying, I take care of my house and cook the family meals, as well as look after my 6 month old….I have so much more appreciation for all the mums out there now!! It really is a balancing act and there’s a constant nagging voice in the back of your mind that tells you you’re not doing enough. But I’m here to congratulate you all!!! If you’re kids survived, if they are fed and warm, and if you’ve managed to have a shower, you’re a WINNER in my books!! You’re doing amazing things, shaping beautiful little minds…and it’s not a walk in the park!
Remember to try and spare a thought for the woman within, the person behind the “mother” - she deserves a little attention and love from time to time too!!
For me, my workout time is MY time - I crank my music and forget about the world. Do what makes you happy!!

Around 2-4 weeks post birth versus 6 months. Working out 3 days a week, walking most days and eating well - including treats and ordering in! Hehe. Working, developing my business, studying and having a 6 month old is hard to juggle at times - but I try my best to keep my health and fitness as a priority. After all, for me at least, a healthy mummy is a happy mummy. Life is amazing and challenging - but at the end of the day a lot of your experience has to do with your attitude! Thinking you CAN goes a long way towards being the woman that DID!
